You can't see me, but I'm inside on the couch.
You'll never guess what I saw when Papi put me out in the yard this morning! It was snow! Of course, I was kinda surprised, so I didn't want to go out in it, but then Mami got up and took me out and I ran around and ate and ate it. It was cold on my toes but I didn't mind. Mami had a hard time getting a picture of me because I moved so fast, but here's the best she could do. It's still snowing, and I'm curled up on the couch watching it. How exciting!

It's been a few days since my crazy weekend, but I spent all day in Mami and Papi's bed, sleeping it off. And when Mami came home, I crawled onto her lap on the couch and slept again. Lulu got into the action too, I guess she was tired from being hidden in the closet for the party or something. Anyway, we were both zonked out. I didn't feel like eating my kibble or anything. But this morning I felt more peppy. Only, it's been off the chart raining here, so I haven't been able to get outside, which is depressing. At least I can sit on the windowsill and look outside, but it's not the same.
Well, I had a wild and crazy night on Saturday. Mami and Papi had their housewarming costume party and we had about 50 people crammed into the house to celebrate. I got passed around to pretty much every guest, and it was so much fun! Everyone wanted a little dog snuggle, and I was happy to oblige.

It's almost Halloween time, and you know what that means? Lots of scary things! For instance, tight fitting dog costumes with hats that crunch up your ears and icky scratchy material. Mami has promised me that this year, I don't have to wear a costume like I did last year. I hate getting dressed up. My friend Sophie is going to be a princess this year, but she said she doesn't mind the big pink dress, although the pointy hat makes her a little sad.

It's gotten pretty cold and rainy here the last couple of days, but I've been curled up in Mami's bathrobe keeping warm.
One of the best things about having a yard is there's just so much to do. For instance, I can spend ten minutes chewing bark on the eucalyptus tree, and then go play ball for awhile, and then afterward I can eat grass, and then I can start all over again. Now I go outside every morning as soon as I wake up, and then I get to eat breakfast afterward. It's a lot of fun. And I go outside again when Mami comes home, and I run and run and run.
Well, I'm in a little bit of trouble. You see, I've got this new habit that Mami doesn't like so much. I've discovered that it's easier to just go to the bathroom under the dining room table rather than walk the extra few steps to my litter box.
This is my new friend Sophie. She came over for a play date on Saturday. It was pretty fun. We ran around the yard and wrestled and jumped and played ball. Sophie is only 12 weeks old, just a baby, but she's already bigger than me, because she's a Cavalier spaniel, so she's going to be a big girl when she grows up.

Let me tell you, we've been going non-stop this weekend. This whole new house thing has really kept us busy, and this weekend was no exception. On Saturday, my grandparents and my great-grandma came down to visit, the one from Portland who takes care of me when Mami and Papi go on trips. It was so exciting to get to cuddle on her lap and fall asleep.
Every morning, I get to go out and run around in the back yard before Mami goes to work, and I'm supposed to be getting business done while I'm out there. But frankly, I'd rather just run around and pick up sticks. There are a bunch of trees in the backyard, and so that means there are a lot of sticks to pick up. There's also bark dust, and old cherries and lots of other things to eat and chew and throw in the air, plus my pink and green tennis ball. Usually, I don't want to go back inside until Mami tricks me into coming inside and then shuts the door.
Lulu and I have been getting along really well in the new house. We especially like to share patches of sunshine in the guest room, which has two windows that we can look out of. When Mami waters the garden it gives us a good view of what's going on, and also, we can see all the neighbor cats as they pass by.
I'm still loving it at the new house. These windows in the living room are great. They look out onto the front garden and the street, so I can watch the bicyclists go by and woof at them. Also, the neighbor cats come right up and look in the window, so I can talk to them and get the latest news.

It's been quite a busy week, and it's only going to get crazier this week. More and more boxes are piling up, and things are getting harder to see because the walls are disappearing behind cardboard. Mami has promised she won't pack up my toys, which is a relief. I think Lulu really likes the mess because she climbs on top of everything and has a good time.
This morning, I had to hide under the bed in an attempt to escape a bath, but Mami found me and popped me into the tub. I hate getting wet, it's so stinky and cold. Also it makes me look a lot smaller. But she is a pretty quick scrubber, so it didn't take long, and then I got to run around the house going cracker dog until I dried off.
Last night was pretty weird, because Mami started taking all these big cardboard boxes and filling them with stuff. Lulu and I weren't sure what was going on. We started circling around them like sharks, sticking our heads inside and sniffing and occasionally bumping into each other. The boxes just grew and grew, and it got all dusty, and there was newspaper all over but Mami wouldn't let me eat it. I was very confused. Finally she stopped taping things and sent us all to bed. I was tired from all that sniffing, and so was Lulu! She went right to her basket. This morning I checked, and all the boxes are still there. I wonder what's going on.
out today that they sign all their paperwork on Monday and then they get the keys. This means a lot of boxes to play around in with Lulu, and chasing the broom, and then finally getting run around my new yard. I can't wait!

I know I post a lot of photos of me eating and sleeping, but honestly, that's a lot of what I do. Here's me this morning, eating my first meal of the day.
This is me eating my birthday dinner last month. I got to have a big plate of pork dogfood, which was a special treat, because normally I'm on a dry dogfood diet.
We don't always get along, but Lulu and I are still pretty good friends. Most of the time, we just chase each other around and wrestle and jump out from behind doors and make a lot of noise, especially when everyone else is asleep.
