This morning, I read a very interesting article about a chihuahua mix like me that has been hired by a police department to be a mini K-9 unit. That was exciting news. Usually, little folks like me are mainly used as fashion models or companions to starlets and socialites. It's about time that folks appreciated us for the smart, dedicated canines that we are. We're hard workers, we learn quickly, and we like to help others. Maybe this trend will catch on, and chihuahuas will be put into other important positions, like fire dogs, airport security or french fry taste-testers.
