On alert

When Mami and Papi aren't home during the day, Lulu and I spend most of our time in the guest room, keeping watch on the neighborhood. There are a lot of things going on around us, like garbage trucks, kids on bicycles, golden retreivers on leashes, a lot of important things like that.
It's a good thing we have two windows, so we can monitor two sides of the house at once. It's also a good place to watch and see if Mami or Papi are coming home, and then we can pretend that we weren't barking or growling or misbehaving. And it's also a really good place to sleep when things are calm and there's no need to keep watch. It's not easy being in charge of the house.
